A world of screams, abuse, addiction, and shattered hearts. A world that told her she was never enough. An ungenuine world that taught her conditions and the sting of betrayal and shame.

Now, at 35, I reflect on the events of my life that helped mold me into the person I am today and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. This story is about how I, a little girl from a small town in West Virginia, stopped hiding from my past, reclaimed my power, forgave myself, and chose to live happy, successful, and limitless. And how you can too.

What lessons have you learned from your trauma? 

Living with regrets isn't for me. So instead, I look for the lessons I can take from each experience, regardless of whether it was a positive or negative experience. In this book, you'll find twenty-one lessons I've learned. Several were learned the hard way, so hopefully you can take these to heart and learn from my mistakes without needing to repeat them for yourself. And maybe, it'll save you a few years. These are just a handful, and more are to come.
